In the past four years, Joanne Devereaux has grown and expanded the services of Mindful Transitions. She became a Certified Senior Advisor adding to her knowledge while working with Seniors. She is on the board of the North Oakland Village part of the national Village to Village Network.
I observed the need for a relocation & senior move management service after directly seeing family and friends go through the often difficult process of moving a parent or relative, especially long distance.
Prior to Mindful Transitions, I had a successful career as an architectural photographer and exhibiting artist. I have experience in marketing, website development, writing & teaching. I continue to photograph and use my own photography for marketing. Recently, I discovered making photographic memory book of a family’s homes can help ease with the transition.
Joanne is the parent of a High School age daughter. She is married to a native Californian she met in Boston over 18 years ago. She is an active volunteer in local charities and enjoys making a difference in the community. She enjoys hiking, flying, cooking, traveling, and family histories. Over ten years ago, she became a licensed pilot. After years of visiting Yosemite, she hiked Half Dome with a good friend and checked it off her bucket list.
